You think a parent’s credit card builds your score for a Las Vegas home. But their big balance can secretly wreck your mortgage application, stopping it cold. I'm David Ghazaryan. I see this problem often. The bank adds a fake monthly payment to your name, and that is how your loan gets denied. Even with a good job, their big credit card debt makes your own debt look huge. A high balance makes your credit score drop fast. (Data may vary over time) The fix is simple and fast. Your parent calls the card company to remove you. Then, I use a tool called a rapid rescore for you. Without this fast fix, you must wait over a month for scores to update. By then, you will likely lose the house you wanted to buy.
