Your military orders just arrived mid-purchase. Most people think their home loan is automatically finished. But this common belief is wrong; a denial isn't guaranteed. I'm David Ghazaryan. The first thing I tell my clients is to call their lender immediately. Hiding the new orders just creates much bigger problems. The VA loan has one big rule: you or your family must live there. New orders make it seem like you can’t move in quickly. But there is a powerful and simple solution that keeps the loan moving forward. If your spouse moves into the new home first, the rule is satisfied. We must also check your new pay for housing, which is called BAH. If it goes down, your loan numbers change, which affects your final approval. Your contract’s military clause is your best financial protection, saving your deposit money.
